As we all are aware, a well-bred horse can change the course of a rider’s career. With that in mind, any offspring resulting from a purchased Stallion from this auction will be eligible for the NARCHC Futurity Incentive. The highest NARCHC money earning incentive eligible reined cow horse offspring to show as a 3-year-old at our Futurity Finals which is out of the corresponding years incentive eligible stallion will earn 30% of the stallion auction proceeds. The stallion owner of this resulting winner will receive 20% of the stallion auction proceeds. With our Futurity payout amongst the highest in Canada and growing rapidly, this is a great added bonus for both the offspring and stallion owner.
In effort to provide more opportunities for our stallion owners and buyers we have changed our stallion auction payout schedule for the 2022 stallion auction moving forward ( this will be the 2026 incentive payout). Payout is as follows: The highest NARCHC money earning incentive eligible reined cow horse offspring to show as a 3-year-old at our Futurity, which is out of the corresponding years incentive eligible stallion, will earn 30% of the stallion auction proceeds. This 30% will be equally paid (50% each) in the Open and Non-Pro division. The stallion owner of these resulting winners will receive 20% of the stallion auction proceeds. This will be equally paid (50% each) to the sire of Open and Non-Pro winners.
Please fill out the incentive eligible offspring nomination forms by July 31 of their 3 year old year. See incentive year for nomination form.
Our Stallion Incentive Payouts are as follows;
2022
$3,865.00 to the Offspring Owner and $2,652.50 to the Stallion Owner.
2023
$3865.00 to the Offspring Owner and $2652.50 to the Stallion Owner.
2024
$5,025.00 to the Offspring Owner and $3,350.00 to the Stallion Owner.
2025
$9617.40 to the Offspring Owner and $6411.60 to the Stallion Owner.
Do you have a stallion you want to nominate? Do you have a foal that is not out of an incentive eligible stallion? There is multiple ways to have offspring eligible!
- Buy a breeding out of the auction.
- Have a foal out of an incentive eligible stallion.
- You may nominate an offspring not currently eligible for the stallion incentive by filling out the stallion auction nomination form and paying the offspring’s sires full stud fee into chosen year’s auction.
- As a result, all stallion’s offspring for that year will be eligible.
- If the highest NARCHC money earning incentive eligible 3-year-old is sired by the stallion you nominated, you will claim 20% of the auction proceeds raised for the nominated year.
- Offspring incentive nominations are due prior to July 31 of an offspring’s three-year-old year. A late fee of $500 will be required for all nominations received after July 31. Payment due at time of nomination.
- You may nominate your stallion into any year’s auction by filling out the stallion auction nomination form and paying that years breeding fee.
